When you enter beer in a homebrew competition, you want to find how how it did as quickly as possible. That's exactly why the club has been organizing a post-competition banquet for the past two years. Scheduled less than 24 hours after the end of the competition, there is no faster way to get a hold of your results.
Just like last year, this year's event will be hosted by Rock Bottom Pittsburgh and scheduled the day after the competition. The actual event will take place in the Sing Sing facility. We'll be serving all the leftover entries that didn't make it to the second round, passing out some exciting prizes, and starting this year, we'll even offer up some live entertainment after the awards ceremony.
Target Schedule:
For those of you looking to time your arrival, we plan to follow the rough schedule outline below.
- 3:00pm Meet and Greet
- 3:45pm Awards Ceremony
- 4:45pm Dinner Buffet
- 6:00pm Live Music
The actual schedule may deviate, but we'll try to keep on track.
Additional Benefits:
In addition to early access to scoresheets, dinner and samples of homebrew, all participants will recieve a commemorative TRASH 22 tasting glass that can be used for beer samples all night. If you participated in the competition, then you also have a good chance of taking home one of our exciting awards.

TRASH Homebrew Club
The Three Rivers Alliance of Serious Homebrewers (TRASH) is a group of local homebrewers who aim to create a forum for discussing and sharing quality beer that we make in our homes. We meet on a monthly basis around the city and sponsor multiple events during the course of the year.
The primary goals of the organization are to:
1. Promote the hand-crafting of world beer styles and mead. Promote the responsible consumption of beer and alcoholic beverages.
2. Educate our members and the public to the benefits and enjoyment of home-brewed beer.
3. Learn how the various beer styles have affected the history and the development of civilization.
If you brew beer in or around Pittsburgh, we would love to meet you. Feel free to stop by one of our meetings even after the banquet is over.
